Studio Jo Cowen were appointed to carry out a full interior refurbishment and project management for the renovation of this Victorian house in Fulham.

The scheme transforms the property into a contemporary, chic home with open-plan living area on the ground floor and a fully custom designed kitchen with deep grey veneer cabinet and intricate dark and bronze toned marble. The ambitious design of the glass extension was achieved through meticulous construction detailing, allowing for as much natural light as possible to fill the space during the day.

Rose gold lighting and sanitary fittings are used throughout the house for continuity. The elegant copper tones add to the contemporary feel of the house and complements the textures of the timber floor, marble and stone used throughout. Custom built joinery was designed to suit our client’s storage and wardrobe needs, finished with a washed oak veneer and feature pull handles.

We worked closely with our creative client and as such were able to design beautifully bespoke architectural pieces. One of the standout features is the fully bespoke elegant oak staircase which marries the smoked oak mansion weave pattern of the floor, used throughout the house.

The interior design is a story of attention to detail paired with a homely, eclectic elegance, led by our client’s brief, and brought to life by Studio Jo Cowen.
