A close working-relationship with the client and their family resulted in a complete renovation of a large Victorian property in west Fulham; celebrating the client’s love of Crittall combined with practical layouts, traditional elements and contemporary fittings throughout.

An emphasis was placed on creating a fluid transition between the key living space towards the front of the property and through to the landscaped rear garden. The kitchen was fully bespoke and allowed for plenty of counter space with a central island for entertaining.

The rear extension is visually separated only by the vertical steel elements comprising of elegant Crittall style doors and windows which create perfect windows into the garden beyond. The ambitious design of the rear extension was achieved through meticulous structural design, substituting columns with a large cantilever, allowing for natural light to flood the space during the day.

An elegant piece of joinery opens up to reveal a concealed study space, complete with integrated drawers, bookshelves and space for a chair. The joinery throughout the project uses a mix of rich coloured oak and grey stained oak to give a neutral palette to the project.

The light oak parquet floors run throughout the house and adds the refined details. A gorgeous roof terrace with views reaching as far as the Thames contributes to making this space truly unique.
