Studio Jo Cowen are exceptionally proud to have completed a full renovation of this large Victorian property in West Fulham.

The ambitious design of the rear extension was achieved through meticulous construction detailing, optimising natural light penetration throughout the day. The rear extension is distinguished by long-format pale grey bricks, setting it apart from the original fabric of the house.

The addition of a full basement, along with a complete reconfiguration and refit, allowed us to create generous, well-proportioned spaces with views aligned along the axes of the floor plan. This redesign ensures ample daylight and sunlight throughout, particularly in the main basement room. The new basement features a sophisticated family room, a gym with a steam room, and a bespoke wine cellar.

On the Ground Floor, the visual axis extends from the front door through the kitchen and dining room to the garden, highlighting the project’s seamless integration with its beautiful surroundings.
